Protecting the Environment
History
Dedicated to the waste management industry for almost 50 years.
Taylors Industrial Services Ltd is proud to be the first family run business in North East Scotland with waste management and industrial cleaning being the core of our activities for nearly 50 years.
Established in 1962 by Wyllie Taylor and his son Adrian, the company originally began working predominantly for the granite trade and local paper mills with their core customer base being (to name but a few) Aberdeen Northern Marts, Trollope and Coll, Charlie Alexander, SAI and the Fishing Industry.
Taylors took over the work that was previously done by the local authority, progressing to Septic Tank Cleaning and disposal of granite trade, paper mills and fishing effluent. Spotting a niche in the market due to new environmental legislations, Taylors then developed interceptor drainage maintenance for the oil and gas industry with great success.
After leaving school Kevin Taylor joined his father and grandfather in the business. He learned his trade from the bottom up giving him the ability to understand the business and his customer’s requirements. During this time he formed his unique style and has been driving a strategy of change ever since. His forward thinking has enabled the company to grow significantly, developing our service offerings to become one of the UK’s largest family owned waste management independents.

Now with two generations of the Taylors family at our helm, the business has a large and varied client base, employs over 120 staff and operates in excess of 50 vehicles. We not only aim to exceed your requirements but also strive towards continued innovation to find the best possible solutions for the reduction, re-use and recycling of waste, minimising the volume of waste which goes to landfill and lessening the impact of waste on the environment.
By dedicating ourselves to a continuous improvement programme, we have invested heavily in major capital assets and top of the range equipment, ensuring we can offer the best service possible to our clients.
