The development of our Environmental Village has meant that we have been able to extend the lifespan of our Easter Hatton Landfill by introducing recycling stream diversions.

However, our highly engineered non-hazardous landfill continues to play an important role in the treatment of waste which is unsuitable for any form of treatment. We manage this resource to the highest environmental standards, ensuring the safe disposal and legislative compliance, helping us to continue its key role as part of sustainable and responsible waste management well into the future.
