Poorly maintained or overloaded interceptors can increase the risk of pollution and non-compliance, potentially resulting in fines from Scottish Water or SEPA.

Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Toolbox Talks.

INTERCEPTOR SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
Taylors Industrial Services can provide professional interceptor sampling and monitoring services to help you understand the condition and performance of your interceptor system and identify any potential compliance issues.
By carrying out sampling over a minimum 12-month period, we can build a reliable history of results, providing valuable data to help identify trends, demonstrate compliance and support informed maintenance decisions.
Maintaining discharge consent levels is essential, as failure to comply may result in enforcement action and financial penalties. A regular programme of interceptor inspection, sampling and cleaning can help reduce this risk and ensure your system continues to operate effectively.
All samples are analysed independently by a UKAS-accredited laboratory, providing confidence in the accuracy and integrity of the results. Independent analysis also ensures there is no conflict of interest between our sampling services and any maintenance work we carry out.
Sampling can be arranged on a scheduled or ad hoc basis, depending on your requirements.
